Root Lab LLC

Root Lab is a design and fabrication shop in Houston, Texas. We marry computer design and CNC fabrication technology with an enduring love of craft and a keen aesthetic to achieve striking results. We are a small team of artists, designers and fabricators who utilize 3D design and digital fabrication to make custom objects with an astute attention to detail, utilizing a wide range of materials and processes. Our 5000 sq. foot shop is located just east of Downtown Houston. We have a woodshop and welding shop including a 4'x8' CNC wood router and a 5'x10' CNC plasma cutter and 8' magnetic brake. Additionally, we have a 3D printer and mold making capabilities. We can help develop your idea from scratch, facilitate the development of your design and put your design into production. We have expertise in a range of CAD and CAM programs such as Rhino, AutoCAD, Sketchup, RhinoCAM and Aspire.
